Tom has been a Head of Department at both secondary and primary level, and in both the maintained and independent sector. He has specialised for several years in Philosophy for Children, and in 2014 was awarded The Walter Hines Page scholarship, for which he spent time in the United States researching assessment of philosophical skills. He lives in East London and spends most of his spare time cooking. Jason is an educational entrepreneur and former teacher, founder of The Philosophyman, Outspark outdoor education and Director of Studies at GIFT, Europe’s leading provider of multi-disciplinary summer schools for exceptionally able teens. He lives on a narrowboat in Cambridge and enjoys caving and musical improv comedy.”
